We are a small but passionate collection of fundraisers, storytellers and organizational health leaders. We exist to help you grow.
Our story all began with a simple idea. We wanted to launch an agency that had a holistic approach to cultivating growth for charities.
We understand that every charity (just like a garden) is unique. We take the time to listen, learn, and cultivate a plan that reflects your charitable needs.
We immerse ourselves in your mission and values so that our approach accurately reflects the core of who you are.
With extensive experience in the charitable sector, we use our global expertise to help create a holistic approach to charitable growth.
Our work has taken us all over the world where we have encountered some of the most incredible charities doing amazing work in really complex situations.
Our mission is simple: Giardino exists to cultivate transformative generosity by helping mission-driven organizations grow in identity, trust, and impact. We come alongside nonprofits to strengthen fundraising, clarify their voice, and deepen their roots — so they can invite others into stories of lasting change. With warmth, wisdom, and care, we create space for generosity to flourish.
We have learned that if you want to ensure that your growth is sustainable, your organization needs to be as healthy as possible.
No matter where you are based in the world, we can serve you and your team.
Meet our Founder
Philip Reilly
Originally from Scotland, since 2003 I have been living and working in Vancouver, Canada.
Giardino was born from the belief that generosity, when nurtured with care and rooted in relationship, has the power to transform not only organizations but people. As founder, I bring over 15 years of experience in global philanthropy, major gift strategy, and nonprofit leadership — shaped by a deep commitment to storytelling, relational trust, and meaningful impact. Over the years, I’ve come to see philanthropy as a garden: each relationship cultivated meaningfully, each story a seed, and each act of giving a sign of life taking root. My approach weaves strategic insight with relational attentiveness, helping mission-driven teams and donors move beyond transactions into lasting, joyful impact.
Giardino is my invitation — to cultivate a more human, wholehearted expression of philanthropy together.
